HT: How did you become interested in missions?
From the time I was a young girl, missions was interesting to me. I wanted to tell others about Christ and his great love.
Q: What would HT readers be surprised to learn about you?
A: I was a high school physical education teacher for eight years before entering ministry. (I was 40 pounds lighter in those days.)
Q: How can we not worry with all that is going on in the world?
Q: The Church of the Nazarene is blessed with many gifted men and women in full-time ministry.
After a promising start as a ministerial student at Caribbean Nazarene Bible College, Oliver R. Phillips (ORP) lost his way and found himself living on the streets of Washington, D.C.
HT: Tell us about your background.
Q: If you could meet a historical figure, who would it be and why?A: Abraham Lincoln - to talk about faith in the face of adversity and priorities in the face of demands.
Q. It seems that various sports and sport practices are taking over family schedules on Sundays. How do churches help families and youth stay connected and set priorities?
